Jack London (January 12, 1876 - November 22, 1916) was an American author who wrote over fifty books and short stories. London was a pioneer in the world of commercial magazine fiction which became extremely popular in the early 20th century. As a result, he was one of the first Americans to make a huge financial success from writing.
Jack London's most famous novels are The Call of the Wild, White Fang, The Sea-Wolf, The Iron Heel and Martin Eden.
